Fake Cake Workshop – Inspired by Katherine Sabbath!
A creative and deliciously fun experience! In this hands-on workshop, kids will design and create their very own realistic fake cake—so lifelike, you'll have to resist taking a bite. Their masterpiece will be a stunning home display piece, inspired by the bold and whimsical cake designs of Katherine Sabbath who has granted permission to recreate her designs.
But that’s not all! Every great cake deserves a stand, so students will also craft their own unique cake stand using upcycled materials. This adds an extra touch of creativity and sustainability to their project!
And because no cake adventure is complete without a sweet treat, we’ll finish the day by enjoying a real cake celebration together!
A perfect mix of art, imagination, and fun—this is one workshop your child won’t want to miss!

Creative Weaving & Sewing Workshop!
Get ready for a fun-filled adventure in fabric, yarn, and stitching magic! In this workshop, kids will explore the world of weaving, sewing, and embroidery, creating unique and colorful projects to take home.
Here are some things that will be on offer to make:
Embroidered Tote Bags – Personalise a tote with colorful stitches and designs.
Woven Wall Hangings – Create a beautiful textured masterpiece to hang at home.
Hand-Sewn Plush Toys or Pillows – Learn simple sewing techniques to make a soft and cuddly creation.
Mini Loom Weaving – Make your own loom and weave colorful patterns with yarn.
Pom-Pom & Tassel Garlands – Add a fun, fluffy touch to any space with handmade decorations.
All projects will be adjusted to suit different skill levels, ensuring every child, from beginners to experienced creators, can learn, explore, and have fun!

Vibrant Paper Mache Vessels & Paper Flowers Workshop.
Inspired by the bold and colourful vessels of Penny Brousshooft, this workshop invites kids to explore the magic of paper-maché and handcrafted paper flowers.
What we’ll create:
Unique Papier-Maché Vessels – Using recycled and upcycled materials, kids will design and build their own stunning decorative vessels.
Realistic Crepe Paper Flowers – Made from luxurious Italian crepe paper, these flowers will be so lifelike you’ll want to smell them!
With endless colour possibilities and creative freedom, every child will take home a one-of-a-kind masterpiece bursting with personality. Due to the delicate fine motorskills being used with flowers I suggest to prepare your child for patients.

PAPER FLOWERS AND PAPER MACHE VESSELS 17th/APR

The Big Art Day is an exciting, hands-on experience where kids can experiment, explore, and create on a large sheet of heavyweight paper using a variety of art materials.
